Helen is a Chicago Public Schools 8th Grade middle school mathematics teacher with 16 years of experience within the district and surrounding suburbs. She has earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (Type 75),  Master of Arts in Mathematics, Bachelor of Arts in Education, and an Associate of Arts in General Business and Business Administration. Helen thrives on making a difference in her students’ lives by fostering their education, social, and emotional needs, while making learning accessible to all students by maintaining rigor in the classroom and making connections in the real world.
